So as it turns out, the homeopathist (if that's a word!) found Archer has a wheat allergy only, which is great news because I really thought he would have a dairy allergy as well, but I'll still have to cut out enough things from my diet. I haven't a clue really about homeopathy, I just know that western medicine at this point wasn't helping and so decided to try something different.

Both boys are one a few different things that showed up in their readings...and in about 5 weeks we should know if they've worked or not.

If anyone understands homeopathy well, I am totally open to more information as I am basically clueless. I do know that bringing it up gets some awkward feedback though...(ahem, Jason) Of course I really could be off my rocker with this, but I'm not one to rule out certain things just because I don't have to have some expensive test run to diagnose something. I'm hoping it works though, that's be awesome not only for the boys, but that "I told you so..." I'll love that part.

if it works, that will be great! i'm open to new ideas as long as they're not too wacky...i tried a few homeopathic things in NC...but i didn't really have any issues(well, ok, none that homeopathy works for...);0) so i have no idea if it worked or not...good luck and let us know how it goes!:0)

I think its interesting, and makes sense to me. When i was having migranes as a teenager, I went to a kinesiologist. Through stiffer movements when exposed to different foods, we found what foods and even THINGS that my body had a reaction to. Let us know how things work out!

have faith! so much of how our bodies react is power of the mind! we used muscle testing with nolan and avrie very succesfully. our bodies are incredible...we just need to learn how to listen to them. right now, mine is screaming "coofffeeeee". =P. but, really...eastern medicine may look quacky but it's not.

and exactly why does eastern medicine look wacky to us? because it's different than what we were taught growing up. what's truly wacky is having drug after drug prescribed to ONLY treat the symptoms, not the problem!!

Never tried it. But I've heard LOTS and LOTS of great things about it! I also agree that since it's not the normal, popular thing to do, it'll get alot of frowns. But if people only knew what 'medicines' did to your little kids/yourself.. you'd never go that route again. We lean more towards natural remedy's ourselves.

GOod luck!

I have been through every allergy treatment you could possibly name (for Joel), and by far the one that's helped the most is not recognized by Western medicine.
It's already been said here but I'll say it again. Muscle testing is awesome. Stick with it.
You may want to look up BioSET or NAET, or e-mail me for more information. I'd be glad to help.

Amber, I have gone that route....VERY successfully too! :) Good luck w/it. Justin has as well....he had a dairy allergy among other things and I had cane sugar, msg, cig smoke, and some other things as well. Then when I had Systemic Candida, it was the ONLY thing that worked and got me back on track. If you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them (if I can!!) I hope it works as successfully for you as it did for us.....I got so tired of the medical drs saying there was 'nothing wrong'---hah, just live in my body and you'll say otherwise!! Anyway...long enough...!!! Good luck!

for myself, i'd rather go the homeopathy route before western medicine... homeopathy has been around longer than the "miracle drugs" have! (of course, there are some things that modern medicine is better for) kineseology works really well too (ditto, elissa!) so if you can find someone who does it, it might be worth checking out. they will actually "cure" the allergies. i found out that i was sensitive to my own hormones... weird, huh? good luck! :)

just have to comment again. i was sensitive to my own hormones as well, which is why i am puking constantly for months when pregnant. anyway, my friend who is trained in bioset is the only person who was able to help me!!!!
