Elliot was telling me that Santa came to school today..."Da real one!" He added that he doesn't come in through the chimney anymore (we don't have one) because they get too dirty. He asked for a new snowboard. The holidays are hard for kids who don't do the Christmas thing.

Jason is getting the kids dressed to take them out in the snow. I just realized that we don't have winter boots for Trae. He is wearing a pink pair now, but we will get him some before we go up the Steve and Pam's as we have a sledding excursion planned and can't have our son in pink boots. Brookelyn says he's cute anyway. :0)

Daddy's home early!!

Jason's home...not so great for the paycheck, but they have 2 concerts and Mom, the kids, and I went this morning, but now we can all go back a 2nd time @ 2. Elliot will be surprised to see us, and Daddy, again! Maybe Jason can take the kids outside when we got home and I can squeeze a workout in....we'll see.

**Elliot was happy to see us...Trae kept waving and waving. Also, we saw an old lady (65-70) in a see-through shirt with a lacy granny bra underneath. (think family dollar) I'm dead serious. *shudder*

Funny Stuff.

I pulled Archer in bed with me last night to nurse him....mind you I was exhausted....and he kept rooting around but not latching on. I kept dozing off, only to be woken again when he fussed and threw his head back and forth. Finally, I woke up enough and asked him sweetly "What's the deal here? Mommy's tired, let's just eat..." and then realized I had been putting my nipple in his ear, and he was rooting around to find it because he was trying to be a good baby and eat! I chuckled out loud, got him latched on, and promply crashed out again. ;0)
